Short bio: An Hendrix is Professor at Ghent University and Group Leader at the Cancer Research Institute Ghent, specializing in extracellular vesicles (EVs) and their clinical applications . She holds an MSc in Bioscience Engineering and a PhD in Health Sciences, leads major international initiatives in the EV field, and received the 2021 ISEV Early/Mid-Career Investigator Award for her pioneering contributions to EV research and standardization.

Talk abstract: I will introduce the student network to ISEV’s task forces and special interest groups and highlight how early-stage researchers can actively contribute and help to shape the future of the EV research field through these initiatives.
