RNA Task Force

About

The RNA Task Force, launched in 2024, aims to bring together RNA experts with a shared interest in exploring the RNA cargo of extracellular vesicles (EVs). The task force focuses on investigating the sorting, packaging, release, and eventual fate and function of EV RNA. This group is open to all the scientists working on EVs from various biological sources, with a particular emphasis on RNA cargo and its functional implications. The primary objectives of the task force are to:
  • Discuss and propose initiatives regarding nomenclature
  • Develop and refine isolation techniques
  • Enhance characterization methods
  • Establish standards and standardization protocols

By fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, the RNA Task Force seeks to advance our understanding of EV RNA biology and its potential applications in research, diagnostics, and therapeutics.
