ISEV Workshop on EV biomolecular corona
The International Society of Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV) is collaborating with the University of Brescia and the Italian Society of Extracellular Vesicles (EVIta) to host the first-ever workshop on EV biomolecular corona. The event will bring together experts from the synthetic and biogenic nanoparticle fields (with focus on EVs) to share tools, foster new studies, and showcase the remarkable and most recent research in the EV-corona space worldwide. Talks and round-table discussions will revolve around four main topics: 1. Fundamentals of Biomolecular Corona: origin, thermodynamics and colloidal properties. 2. EV corona biogenesis, biological significance and molecular composition. 3. Biogenic nanoparticle corona separation and characterization. 4. Potential applications of the biomolecular corona (e.g., clinics, diagnostics, etc). The workshop will be held on February 27th-28th, 2025 at the Faculty of Law, University of Brescia, Palazzo Calini ai Fiumi, Brescia, Italy AnnouncementWe are pleased to announce that Prof. Kenneth A. Dawson, the Director of the Centre for BioNano Interactions at University College Dublin, Ireland, and a globally recognized expert in the field of nanoparticle protein corona, will open the workshop with a plenary talk. How to applyApplication will open on 6th September 2024. Please submit your abstract through the following button or QR code. Submit AbstractThere is no registration fee, but participation is limited to ISEV members. Sign up on the ISEV website if you're not a member yet. As the workshop is limited to 50-60 attendees, applicants will be selected based on the submitted abstract and statement of interest.
