EVP FAIR-KID (Extracellular Vesicle & Particle Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable-Knowledge Information Data) Task Force
About
The EVP FAIR-KID task force was created to catalyze data-intensive research in the EV/non-vesicular extracellular particle (NVEP) field by reinforcing transparency and data harmonization, accelerating the sharing of EV knowledge, and boosting its translational potential.

Other Outputs
The task force completed a survey of the ISEV community ahead of the ISEV 2025 conference to assess community perspective on data sharing. We then held our first workshop at the conference where we discussed results of the survey.
Planned activities:
The scope of EVP FAIR-KID task force activities includes: 1) Engaging the community to simplify and recommend data sharing standards and processes for data contributors and data consumers, also in light of artificial intelligence (AI)-ready applications; 2) Developing documents that articulate community consensus regarding FAIR data sharing recommendations and best practices and that solicit input from the community; 3) Coordinating “implementation projects” by task force members and others, 4) Publishing papers that articulate recommended data sharing standards and processes, and that show implementations.
