ISEV EV-TRACK Task Force Virtual Workshop
Wednesday, March 29, 2023, 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM CEST
Category: Student Network on EV Events

This virtual event is open to all who are interested!

Why?

EV-TRACK is a crowdsourcing knowledgebase (http://evtrack.org) that centralizes EV biology and methodology with the goal of stimulating researchers to put experimental guidelines into practice. EV-TRACK is endorsed by ISEV and recommended by the MISEV guidelines. The diversity and rapid evolution of the EV research field, requires co-evolution of EV-TRACK to ensure continued coaching of researchers in transparent reporting, systematic cataloguing of preparation and characterization methods and timely EV-METRIC, survey and website updates. Therefore the EV-TRACK administration team calls for an EV-TRACK task force to fuel future developments of the EV-TRACK knowledgebase.

How?

During the ISEV R&S EV-TRACK task force workshop we will present EV-TRACK 2.0, propose particular work groups, and discuss and interact with researchers that show interest to actively participate as a task force member and thereby ensure the continuation of EV-TRACK.

Who?

Ideally, the EV-TRACK task force is composed of researchers spanning different career stages (including both early stage researchers (including PhD / Post-Doc) and principal investigators), and diverse research backgrounds (including both basic and applied science, diverse species, machine learning and artificial intelligence).

Program:

4:00 – 4:15 pm (CET) - Introduction to ISEV R&S Task forces - Prof. Dr. Juan Falcón-Pérez.

4:15 - 5:00 pm (CET) - Introduction to EV-TRACK - Prof. Dr. An Hendrix.

5:00 – 6:00 pm (CET) - Breakout rooms to introduce current practice and discuss future developments.
